I just can't do anything musical without the Tories getting involved. More than anger, outrage etc., I feel sheer disbelief at the thought that so many of us keep voting for them. And it's hilarious that Tory voters think of themselves as patriots - as if selling and siphoning off the assets of a country to overseas owners, chancers and cronies, and plundering the public purse to enrich the wealthy, and running down the public services we all need, and trashing parts of the economy where we are genuinely world class (the BBC and music springs to mind) is somehow "the patriotic thing to do".

If this is you, this is for you. I think I managed to stay polite.

The music here is mainly guitars. I didn't think it at the time, but listening back I can hear an influence from Robert Wyatt's Rock Bottom in the instrumental section. I'm very happy about that - it's one of my favourite albums.
